Constitution Loudoun South Little League is governed by a formal Constitution, ratified by its members and approved by Little League Baseball. Our Constitution describes the the purpose of the league, requirements for membership, the organization of and responsibilities of the officers of the Board of Directors, meeting requirements, election procedures, finances, and means of amending the Constitution itself.
The LSLL Constitution was most recently amended and adopted by the membership of the League on November 1, 2012. A copy of the Constitution can always be downloaded here:
Bylaws
In addition to our Constitution, LSLL has adopted a number of bylaws which further define the guidance, policies, and procedures which are used to run the League on a daily basis. These include various definitions of terms; season and division names; roster ages, sizes, and placement; draft procedures; All Star selection policies and processes; and responsibilities of all Members in the day-to-day operation of the league. Unlike the Constitution, which can only be changed by a vote of a â…” majority of League members, the by-laws can be more readily modified as need be; however, any bylaws in effect at the outset of a given season shall remain in effect for the duration of that season.
The most recent by-laws were adopted by the officers by roll call vote of the Board of Directors on February 2, 2015. A copy of these bylaws can be downloaded here:
