LSLL Spring 2024 Registration - NOW OPEN

Welcome to our NEW website! Thank you for your patience as it’s taken us a bit longer to get registration open for the spring season given this transition. We’ll be making updates to the new site over the coming weeks and months as we learn more about mapping our existing policies and procedures to the site’s capabilities. We appreciate your patience as we work through this in the near future.

We have now opened our registration for the Spring 2024 season!

This email contains some very important information. Please READ ALL THE ENCLOSED DETAILS as some things have changed for this spring.

Since we have a new database every parent will need to build a new account for themselves BEFORE registering their child or children.
Our new system is closely linked to Little League International so we’ll be doing boundary checks at the time of registration. You’ll be asked to verify your home location using either your residence address or the school your child attends.

NEW this spring - SOFTBALL within LSLL! We’re very excited to be hosting our first season of spring softball within our league. You’ll see separate registration options for softball and baseball on our site. For our Beginners age groups (League Age 5-7) we are hosting co-ed teams. We do this since the fundamentals of both baseball and softball at those ages are very identical and our co-ed teams will give all of our players a solid base to build upon as they advance within the league. Once players reach League Age 8 we’ll break apart into sport-specific teams as the skills needed at that age begin to be unique to softball.

IMPORTANT - Since this is our first spring softball season some of the settings between LSLL and Little League are still in the process of being finalized. Because of this when you are registering for softball please select “School” for your boundary check and then select “Other” to complete your registration.

Some important dates:

Registration opens December 14
On time registration closes January 13
Practices begin on/around March 16
Games begin on/around April 13
Spring picture day is April 20
Season ends on/around June 8

 Registration Overview for the 2024 LSLL Spring Baseball Season

League Age: Please note that all ages listed below are League Ages, which are determined by Little League International's guidelines. Please see the LSLL website for more information.

Boundaries: If you are new to or have moved recently, please verify you are within our boundaries before you register. Players of League Age 5-15 who reside within LSLL boundaries will be eligible to play in the LSLL 2024 Spring season.

LSLL is offering the following programs this season:

Beginners Baseball: 5-7 year olds (T-Ball, Instructional Rookie, Rookie) - coed with softball
Beginners Softball: 5-7 year olds (T-Ball, Instructional Rookie, Rookie) - coed with softball
Minors Baseball: 8-11 year olds (A, AA, AAA)
Minors Softball: 8-11 year olds (A, AA, AAA)
Majors Baseball: 10-12 year olds
Majors Softball: 10-12 year olds
Juniors Division Baseball: 13 - 15 year olds
Juniors Division Softball: 13 - 15 year olds
Middle School Baseball: 13-15 year olds

NOTE: Our Majors divisions are the most competitive divisions in our league. If you have questions about your player’s eligibility please contact the appropriate Player Agent (see below).

Registration Timeline:

On-Time Registration: December 14, 2023 - January 13, 2024 = $200 per player + $25 capital improvement fee (one per family) + $25 fundraising fee (one per family).
Late Registration: January 14, 2024 - January 20, 2024 -- Late registration is subject to availability on a per-age basis. Some divisions may be full, so participants registering late will be placed on the waitlist with no guaranteed placement. $225 per player + $25 capital improvement fee (one per family) + $25 fundraising fee (one per family).

Be sure to review the LSLL Frequently Asked Questions concerning eligibility, league boundaries, age groups, and other important information before registering your player.

Volunteers: At least one parent is required to select a volunteer role at the time of registration.It is especially important for planning purposes that all Team Manager applicants complete their online application on or before January 13, 2024.

Payment: All sensitive data is properly encrypted once you login to the LSLL website. The LSLL registration system is setup to accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

Waitlist: Players added to the waitlist are not guaranteed placement on a team. Before accepting your player from the waitlist, we will contact you to ensure your player is still interested and available to play. If you agree to have your player accepted from the waitlist, the waitlist registration fees will apply.
